Phiphidi Waterfalls
Situated on the Mutshindudi River on the main road towards Dzanani, approximately 12km from the hotel.
Since the area is Sacred to the Venda People, visitors are asked not to remove any clay pots they may find, or pick any plants.
Thathe Vondo Forest
The number of cars permitted to enter the area is sometimes restricted. To avoid disappointment, visitors are advised to
arrange their trip in advance.
Vuwa Arts & Crafts
The craft house of the Venda People, specialising in traditional
Venda Arts and Crafts, Pottery, Painting, Basketware, Plants, Beadwork and Clothing.

The Holy Forest
Ancient Burial ground of the Vha-Venda.
A road passes through the forest, but nobody may enter on foot -
even the "down to earth" confess that the Forest has a
"strange atmosphere".... !
Fundudzi
The Sacred Lake of Fundudzi may be seen from the
viewpoint in the Thathe Vondo Forest.
Non Venda's are not allowed to the Lakeshores unless special permission has been granted by the Priestess of the Lake.

Kruger National Park
Only 70km from the Hotel, the northern part of the Kruger Park
is an easy day trip.
During School and Public Holidays, no visitors are admitted to the Kruger Park without a Day Permit.
