Who said the days of the diamond rush were long gone in Kimberley?
Apparently the rush is in full swing at the Flamingo Casino these days too. Built in a beautiful architectural style meant to reflect a turn of the century atmosphere, the Flamingo casino is indeed focused on gambling, but that doesn’t mean the complex of which it is a part, doesn’t provide family entertainment of the highest quality too.
Adjacent to the casino, there’s a family restaurant. The Squires Grill and Bar offers quite a lavish dining experience. There’s also a Conference Center for company events or get-togethers.
The establishment is flanked by the Kimberley Golf Club too. Flambino’s Kids Zone and Creche will take care of the young while the parents are inside rolling the ball or spinning the slot reels. The Kids Zone has all sorts of interactive video games and arcade ones providing entertainment for kids up to 17 years old.
The casino is the main focus of the venue. It features 11 table games, offering blackjack, and roulette, divided into smoking and non-smoking areas.
There are a total of 250 slot machines in the casino, featuring new and older games too like African Express, Hollywood, Wheel of Gold and Born to be Wild. High rollers will enjoy the Barnato Room, which is basically a Prive area where there are two tables and 10 slot machines featuring higher than usual stakes.
All through the Flamingo Casino, coinless gambling is possible through the smart card system which has been implemented. The smart card system has also made it easier for the casino to track player activity in order to award comp rewards to those who generate enough action. The casino is open each day till 12:00.
