Tsogo Sun's annual income saw a modest increase of 2%, reaching R11.5 billion, though this was overshadowed by various challenges. The company highlighted the escalating costs of diesel and the financial strain caused by load shedding as major factors adversely affecting its performance. Additionally, revenue was pressured by constrained discretionary spending among consumers, which has shifted notably since the pandemic.
