How it works

The idea is simple: the more days you play, the more spins you collect. The day you activate the promo becomes your Day 1, and a single bet of any amount on one of the five qualifying slots earns you 10 Lucky Spins. From Day 2 you'll need to hit a daily spend target on those same games to keep the spins coming, and missing a day's target means missing that day's spins.

The targets climb gently through the week. Day 2 asks for R30 in exchange for 12 spins, and from there the spend rises by R6 and the reward by two spins each day, until Day 7 pays out 22 spins for a R60 spend. Play all seven days and you'll have collected 112 Lucky Spins, each worth a fixed R0.10.

Timing matters. Each window opens at 08:00 SAST on the Monday and closes at 23:30 SAST on the Sunday, so activating on the opening day is the only way to get the full run. Join late and you'll have fewer days to climb before the count resets for the next window.

Spins land automatically at 08:00 each morning. Say yes when the pop-up appears: declining or closing it forfeits those spins for good. Once you accept, you have 20 minutes to play them before any leftovers expire.

Spins are limited to one per person, account, IP address and household. Duplicate or fraudulent accounts don't qualify and forfeit any winnings. Bettabets can amend or cancel the promo at any time, or withdraw payouts where it suspects abuse, and its standard terms and conditions apply. Customer support can help with any questions.

Before you play

It's worth keeping the numbers in perspective. A full week's 112 spins add up to R11.20 in free stakes, while unlocking them all takes at least R270 of spending from Day 2 to Day 7, plus your Day 1 bet. That makes Lucky Spins a small bonus on play you were already planning, not a reason to bet more than you otherwise would.

So set a budget before you start and stick to it, whatever the spin count says. Winners know when to stop. If gambling stops being fun, the National Responsible Gambling Programme can help: call the toll-free helpline on 0800 006 008, or WhatsApp "Help" to 076 675 0710.
