Evolution Gaming, parent company of NetEnt and Red Tiger, announced that it has inked a deal with the leading South African gaming operator, Supabets.
Supabets, launched in 2008, is one of the most successful African-based land and online betting companies on the continent, with a presence in South Africa, Tanzania, Zimbabwe and Ghana.
Under the terms of the agreement, NetEnt and Red Tiger will supply Supabets with close to 175 slots and table games. The agreement was signed after the parties worked closely with the Mpumalanga Economic Regulator (MER), the gambling authority under which Supabets is licensed in South Africa.
The latest deal is the extension of an existing relationship that Evolution has in place with Supabets.
Evolution already supplies the operator with a suite of Live Casino Games, allowing players to enjoy top quality card and table games from the comfort of their own homes, while communicating with a live dealer.
According to Dean Finder, the chief executive officer at Evolution Services SA: “We are delighted that we have the opportunity to expand our partnership with Supabets and that they will now have access to our portfolio of NetEnt and Red Tiger slot games.”
“We hope their players will enjoy the diversity of the portfolio, as there truly is something available for everyone to enjoy.”
Also commenting was Marc Palxton-Harrison, the managing director at Intelligent Gaming.
“We are ecstatic to finally have MER approval for the launch of the NetEnt and Red Tiger world class slots offering,” he said. “We are confident they will do very well with Supabets and we look forward to adding the portfolio to our remaining SA clients.”
Also commenting on the deal was Jurie Roux, the chief executive of SA Rugby, who expressed the authority’s excitement about partnership with Betway. He said that the deal would “stretch beyond the four white lines of a rugby field.”
“Betway have some exciting new initiatives that will be announced in due course as part of the new partnership, and we are excited to see what the future holds,” he said.
