Peermont Hotels recently announced that it was entering the online betting sphere with the launch of its new PalaceBet.co.za site. We’ve heard about the sports betting platform that Peermont will launch together with online sports wagering operator, DraftKings, but who will be providing the live gaming content to the site? The latest news is that Peermont has joined forces with BetGames.TV which will see the supplier provide its entire suite of live content to the South African brand.
Earlier this month, on October 7th, PalaceBet.co.za went live with its DraftKings-powered digital sportsbook and a number of BetGames titles such as Wheel of Fortune, 6+ Poker and War of Bets. According to Peermont, it is hoped that the new games, which are delivered by SBTech integration technology, will appeal to South African players. The games are meant to complement the exciting sports betting options on the one platform. The group’s CEO, Nigel Atherton, said that SA players have “already shown significant interest” in the BetGames titles.
“As an industry leader, we are looking for partners that fit in with our high standards and can provide a quality product that bettors have come to expect,” added Atherton. “BetGames.TV offers just that and we’re proud to add their library of products to PalaceBet, a brand that we’ve high hopes for and that aims to deliver some of the best betting experiences around.”
BetGames.TV is an innovative and pioneering live dealer betting games supplier which was established in 2012. The group’s CCO, Richard Hogg, said that South African players have taken to BetGames.TV’s live casino content very well in recent months. He added that he was sure that PalaceBet’s burgeoning player base would also enjoy what the company has to offer. “Peermont are a well-established land-based operator, and we can’t wait to help them transition to the digital space with content that’s already proven to drive impressive revenues in the market,” said Hogg.
In addition, DraftKings has rolled out its online sports wagering products, with special features such as bet builder and odds boost. DraftKing’s B2B technology will power Peermont’s entry into sports betting, so that its customers gain access to extensive markets, live betting opportunities, competitive pricing and localized payment options. According to Shay Berka, the CIO of DraftKings, the collaboration brings together two companies that are committed to providing SA sports fans with the most dynamic and innovative sports betting experience.
