YesPlay is running its Chase The Thunder promotion throughout July 2026, giving South African players the opportunity to win a share of more than 120,000 Free Bets while playing Skyward Deluxe.

The promotion starts at 00:00 SAST on 1 July and ends at 23:59 SAST on 31 July 2026. Prizes are distributed through random Sky Drops inside the game and three separate leaderboard competitions. How The Sky Drops Work

Players taking part need to open Skyward Deluxe and monitor the game chat for random Free Bet drops. Each drop must be claimed manually, with prizes awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. YesPlay states that 3,800 Free Bets will be distributed each day through hourly drops controlled by a certified random number generator. The number available changes during the day:

• From 00:00 to 08:00, 25 Free Bets are released each hour.
• From 08:00 to 16:00, 50 are released each hour.
• From 16:00 to 18:00, 100 are released each hour.
• From 19:00 to 00:00, 100 are released each hour.

Each Free Bet is worth R2. Players can claim one prize from each individual drop and may participate in as many as 24 drops per day. There is no overall limit on the number of Free Bets a player can win during the campaign.

Daily, Weekly And Monthly Leaderboards

The Chase The Thunder promotion also includes daily, weekly and monthly Skyward Deluxe leaderboards.

Points are earned according to the multiplier achieved when successfully cashing out a real-money round. For example, a cash-out at 5.5x awards 5.5 leaderboard points. Where players finish with the same score, the higher position goes to the player who reached that score in fewer rounds.

The daily leaderboard resets every 24 hours. The top 75 players receive Free Bets valued from R2 to R100.

Four weekly leaderboard cycles will take place during July, with the top 200 players in each cycle receiving prizes of between R2 and R200.

The monthly leaderboard tracks cumulative points across the full promotional period. At the end of the campaign, the top 500 players will receive Free Bets ranging from R2 to R1,000.

Free Bet Conditions Players Should Check

TFree Bets won through the promotion can only be used on Skyward Deluxe and cannot be exchanged for cash. When a player cashes out a Free Bet round, the original R2 stake is excluded from the payout.

TA minimum multiplier of 2.00x is required for a valid cash-out, while the maximum permitted multiplier is 100,000x. All Free Bets expire 24 hours after being claimed or credited, so players need to use them promptly.
